“To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose, under heaven…..”
The words to this song (from the Byrds, Pete Seeger, and the book Ecclesiastes) has been stuck in my head for the past few weeks. It started when we lost our beloved Gumby-cat. I figured it was fitting to mention it here since I had written about my “studio companions” recently.
Oh, the loss of a pet….
Even Othello, our little rescue of almost 2 years has felt the loss.
So what does a crazy, busy family do? Rescue another kitty of course.
The word Aurora means “dawn”. A new beginning. My son has named our new 4-month old fuzzy rescue “Aurora” . The name seems very fitting considering the meaning. A new beginning, a new life, a new chapter in our lives.
I like it.
I lost my mom on her birthday at the exact time she was born. It makes me wonder about an overall purpose to things. A plan. A time for everything.
And right now we are enjoying a new realtionship and a bit of craziness again in my studio. Cats can get into the smallest spots! And I just noticed she has a bit of purple on her back foot.
I think Gumby and my mom are having a chuckle together.
certainly like your web ѕite but you have
to tаke a look at the spelling on quite a
few of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling proƄlems and I
find it very bothersome to inform the truth however I will surely
come back again.
will do!
