Time for Open Studios!

This Friday I will be at my studio welcoming the public for Greenville’s First Fridays Gallery Crawl starting at 5:00 in the Village of West Greenville. A big, “Neighborhood Block Party” is happening again with music and food trucks and vendors.  I am right around the corner off of Pendleton Street in the new Beacon Studios building across from Art and Light Gallery.  31 Burdette Street Greenville. Pop by and see what I am up to!

And if you can’t make it this Friday, then be sure to stop by all next weekend for Greenville’s Open Studios. Sponsored by the Metropolitan Arts Council, over 150 artists open their working studios to the public.  Come and learn how we do what we do.  Learn about metalsmiths, jewelry makers, metal working, pottery, and of course, painting. Greenville artists even open their doors to their home studios.  My only regret is that I don’t get a chance to run around and see everyone else.

Open Studios runs Friday night, November 13th from 5- 9pm, Saturday from 10 – 6pm and Sunday, November 15th from 12 until 6pm. Be sure to check out the Metropolitan Arts Council website for a complete map to locations.

Whew!  I’ll be tired, but happy to meet everyone.  I’ll have a few new commissions on the easel and a few other new portraits in the works.  Hope to see you soon.
