There is a new exhibition with the Metropolitan Arts Council in Downtown Greenville starting this weekend.
This is my little oil painting, “In the Wings” which is being featured on the show card for “Understudies.” The theme is art as it relates to theater props and costumes and it will be running at the Dolly F. Parti Gallery in downtown Greenville starting this weekend during Artisphere, one of the biggest art festivals in the county. I was honored that MAC chose this tiny oil painting since I normally don’t paint this small. It is only 12″ high. The formal opening reception is May 15th at 6pm.
Hope you can pop by the gallery and if you are running around at the festival this weekend be on the lookout for me! Look for a French easel and an artist with pastel on their hands and wind in their hair.
